YORKSHIRE SELF CATERING

Keepers Cottage is attached to the owner's home and is set in large grounds. The lounge overlooks a paddock in which sheep are usually grazing, together with lambs in springtime. A second paddock behind the cottage provides the cottage with a quiet and peaceful location, although only 50 yards from Gillamoor's central village green and the 'Royal Oak' country pub & restaurant.

Visitors are very welcome to sit in the orchard - a most relaxing occupation on warm summer evenings. The orchard has apple and plum trees together with bushes of gooseberries, and red and black currants. There is a paved area for a portable barbecue which may be borrowed on request.
